Okay, so I could have milked Phil out for weeks. I may still: I could actually have posted each comment on its own, making Phil a regularly appearing guest star. Instead I made Phil larger than life, and put three comments next to him.
Also. Cory doesn’t like Luc’s skirt. It will transition to pants next time he’s in the comic, because my attempt to make a macho Zoot-inspired suit with ankle length skirt just didn’t happen — in the comic world, anyway.
Finally, as an update, I’m getting to the point where I can get a comic out every week or two, as the ideas flow. Cory is primarily an editor, pointing out obvious flaws. Though I think her art is brilliant, she isn’t really focused on drawing a comic right now (she does gallery exhibitions and photo/video work). So any quibbles about the art style should be directed to me. Her ability to point out stupid is what makes Cory important to this project.
That, and she’s pregnant, for those of you who who don’t read the Dark Matters series, and haven’t heard of it there. Things are going to get busier as the baby comes along, but I do intend to adhere to a once a week schedule for all remaining projects.
